4 Station Cap Spindle Tighteners

4 Station cap spindle tighteners utilize spindle wheels to properly and repeatedly apply caps to containers, reduce or eliminate operator fatigue, and provide consistent application torque to the caps. The spindle capping systems modular design adjusts for a wide variety of cap and bottle configurations without the need for change parts, running as fully automatic cappers, semi-automatic cap tighteners or as re-torquing devices used after an induction sealer. Multiple styles of cap sorters are available to orient and feed caps to the adjustable cap placing chute.

4 Station Cap Spindle Tighteners are generally able to cap at faster rates, and provide higher torques than 3 Station Cap Spindle Tighteners are able to achieve.  Also, for difficult to start caps, the first set of spindles can be reversed, providing a much higher cap completion rate than a 3 Station Spindle Capper might accomplish.

Our versatile capping system features toolless adjustment and power height actuators, operating controls housed in a NEMA4 rated stainless steel electrical enclosure, mounted to a durable stainless steel and anodized aluminum framework.

Caps may be fed by a cap sorter into an adjustable cap chute or manually placed by an operator directly onto the container for semi-automatic applications.  Motorized gripper belts control and guide the container securely through the cap tightener while opposing sets of polyurethane discs spin the caps into place.  Mechanically adjustable clutches ensure consistent, accurate torque.
